Question 6.

What happens during a CRYSTAL CARE session?

It is recommended to wash your hair the day of your treatment and refrain from any hair products.

​

Each session begins with a scalp analysis and cleansing to remove buildup and prepare the area.

​

The treatment area is cleansed and aseptic technique maintained throughout. 

​

We combine the Crystal Care Hair treatment with our Raffine micro needling device. Skin needling allows for greater penetration of the Crystal Care into the area of hair loss.  Applied immediately after skin needling to allow for greater penetration into the entire scalp and any areas of hair loss including eyebrows and the beard.

​

The CRYSTAL CARE HAIR serum is then gently infused/ massaged into the scalp or area of hair loss. This dual treatment with combining skin needling ensures the active ingredients penetrate deeply where they can have the most benefit.

The treatment is quite tolerable and requires no downtime. Topical numbing cream can also be used if required, to minimise any patient discomfort.

Question 7.

How many sessions will I need?

​​

For best results, a series of 5 treatments are recommended.

Most patients begin with a course of 4–6 sessions spaced two to four weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions as needed.

Your clinician will personalise your plan based on your scalp condition, goals, and response.

Question 8.

When may I see results?

​

Hair loss and hair thinning can be impacted by many factors including genetics, stress, illness, diet, medical history and certain medical conditions. Treatment results are very individual with some patients noticing improved scalp comfort, hydration, and reduced shedding within a few weeks. Some patients will take longer to see any results.

Visible improvements in hair texture, strength, and density typically develop gradually with consistent treatments and home care. Combining this treatment with a scalp massager, LED light and hair growth serum to use at home will also help to improve scalp health and aid hair growth.

We recommend the Airyday LED bright on LED mask to use at home as red light also aids hair growth.  The Airyday take home Led masks are available for purchase in clinic and are TGA approved.

Is there downtime or aftercare required?

There is no downtime. You can resume normal activities immediately.

We recommend avoiding washing your hair or using styling products for at least 12–24 hours post-treatment to allow the serum to fully absorb. Use a clean pillowcase the night of your treatment and avoid any sun or anything irritating into the scalp.

Can men and women both have CRYSTAL CARE HAIR?

Absolutely. CRYSTAL CARE HAIR is suitable for all genders and scalp types. It can be tailored to address male or female pattern thinning, hormonal hair changes, or general scalp revitalisation. Male and female pattern of hair loss does differ, but this treatment can be tailored to the individual and their own pattern of hair loss or hair thinning.
