WHAT IS THE PINK TREATMENT?

The Pink Solution is a professional Skin Booster comprised of 56 active skin ingredients that help to revitalise the skin, improve tone and texture, encourage skin regeneration and repair, enhances elasticity and enhances moisture levels. It regenerates the skin from the inside out, to slow down the visible signs of ageing.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE SKIN AS WE AGE?

Skin health declines with age due to a combination of intrinsic and extrinsic factors that affect the structure, function, and appearance of the skin.

As we are ageing our skin is getting thinner, it’s losing its elasticity, tone and hydration.  Collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid levels decline.  

Aged spots appear, fine lines and wrinkles develop, our skin loses volume and fat, and the skin gets dry.  Cell turnover is reduced and our skin takes longer to heal. Genetics, environmental, and lifestyle factors all contribute to the condition of our skin. HOW IS THE TREATMENT PERFORMED?

The Pink Treatment can be injected in multiple ways, depending on your skin type, condition and skin concern. 

A multi head stamping needle, also known as a derma stamp is used to inject this booster into the skin. It works like a dermal roller as it pierces the upper layer of the skin to encourage tissue formation, collagen production, and increase blood supply.  It is especially suitable for stretch marks, acne scars and wrinkles. 

Derma stamping creates very precise multiple needles that stamp at each injection point, whereas skin needling rolls the needles over the skin.  This stimulates the body’s natural healing response and triggers the production of collagen and elastin- two proteins essential for healthy- looking skin. 

The micro channels penetrate the dermis and the body starts the healing process. The Pink Treatment then penetrates the skin while these micro channels are open so all the 56 ingredients get to work. 

The Pink Treatment can also be injected with a skin needling / microneedling device or applied topically immediately after skin needling to allow the 56 active skin ingredients to penetrate the dermis and instantly hydrate the skin.  

It improves the vitalisation of fibroblast cells, which are the basic structural framework of tissues. It is optimised for the regeneration of damaged and destroyed tissues, regenerating the skin from the inside out.

WILL IT WORK ON MY PIGMENTATION & AGE SPOTS?

Yes, it does work on superficial pigmentation. If you do have a large amount of pigmentation or deep pigmentation such as melasma, this can be quite stubborn to lighten, so sometimes combining different treatments may be recommended.  Aged spots will not completely remove, but they can be slightly reduced.  

In addition, both the stamping and micro needling techniques also improve pigmentation. 

 

WILL IT IMPROVE ACNE OR CHICKEN POX SCARS?

Yes, it will improve the appearance but may require more than the recommended 3 treatments. 3-6 months of continual treatments may be required for scarring, but this also depends on the depth and degree of scarring present.

IS IT SAFE TO USE IN PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING?

The Pink Treatment ingredients are considered safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding.  Your safety and wellbeing are our utmost priority at Restore My Glow so we do not recommend to have this product injected during this time.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

The treatment protocol is 3 treatments spaced 2 weeks apart, followed by x3 monthly treatments, then maintenance at 3-6 monthly intervals.  

For specific skin conditions such as scarring or pigmentation, may require more treatments.

WHAT IS THE DOWN TIME?

It is a relatively quick procedure that has very minimal down time.  Depending on the technique used, and your skin condition, they can vary.  If a multi head stamping needle was used there may be small little red dots that remain for approx.1 -12 hours at most.  

If it was applied after skin needling the skin may look a little pink- like you have done a workout or that post sun glow. The ingredients in the Pink Treatment will soothe your skin.

 
Vskin post recovery healing masks can also be used afterwards to speed up healing and recovery times, in addition an LED face mask will also help reduce redness. 

Oxygenetix make up can be worn to cover up any redness, but also allows the skin to heal and breath, speeding up recovery times.

All of these post procedure treatments are available in clinic- Airyday LED masks, Vskin post recovery sheet masks, and Oxygenetix post procedure makeup.

POST CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To minimise down time and get the best results we recommend following our post care instructions.  These are given to you at the time of the treatment, as well as emailed to you. 

Avoid washing your face the evening of your treatment and no make-up after the treatment. 

The following day you can wash your face and wear make-up and a 50+ sunscreen is required to be worn every day. We recommend the Airyday 50+ Skinscreen as it is hydrating, breathable, as well as containing SPF.  The Airyday golden glow can also be worn to give a little gold shimmer, if you want to opt to go make up free.

HOW IS THE TREATMENT PERFORMED?

A skin consultation is the first step. The treatment, the benefits, and the risks are explained, and the post care instructions discussed. Pre-treatment photos are taken after going through the consent form with you. 

The treatment area is thoroughly cleansed, then the appropriate technique is used to inject the product. 

Afterwards, a post procedure soothing balm is applied to help reduce redness and calm the skin. The entire procedure only takes approx. 45 mins. 

You can also choose to relax in clinic with a Vskin post procedure mask to calm and soothe the skin.  It can also be used at home that night or the following day, or whenever your skin needs a hydration boost or to speed up recovery times after micro needling, laser or skin treatments. Add it on to your treatment in the “ad ons” so we have enough time to do your Pink Treatment and the Vskin post procedure mask. 

Please wear something loose and comfortable if we are treating the neck and decolletage so we can access that area easily.
